The Next 9 Days

Today is Tuesday, Dec 21.  In just 9 days, our little family of 3 will become a family of 4.  There is plenty left to do, but we cannot waste our last 9 days worrying about unfufilled plans!  There is so much fun already on the schedule!

Tuesday, Dec 21: Work; Appointment with Dr. Davis at 2:15p for a follow up consultation.
Wednesday, Dec 22: Work; Appointment with our attorney at 9a; Call with my doctor to discuss. consultation with Dr. Davis and finalize birthing plans.
Thursday, Dec 23: Work; Wrap presents and prepare for Christmas!
Friday, Dec 24: Make cookies; Focus on Christmas!
Saturday, Dec 25: Christmas!; Enjoy time with Jared, Jordan, my Mom, my Dad, and my sister, Sue.
Sunday, Dec 26: Play with Christmas presents; Find a home for Christmas presents.
Monday, Dec 27: Work; Prepare home for baby Karter (set-up Pack 'n Play and swing, install carseat, rearrange closet and dresser space); Play with Christmas presents!
Tuesday, Dec 28: Work; Prepare home for baby Karter (set-up Pack 'n Play and swing, install carseat, rearrange closet and dresser space); Play with Christmas presents!

Wednesday, Dec 29: Work; Welcome visitors from WV, IN and PA; Enjoy time with Jared, Jordan, my Mom, Steve, Dee Dee, Brittney, Mel & Justin
Thursday, Dec 30: Welcome Karter Kaye Rinker at 7:30a!!!!
Friday, Dec 31: Welcome big sister, Sue; Breathe!!

  1. Could we BE more different? If I didn't need the space for other things right now our car seat would already be installed. Of course...we don't actually know how to install a car seat, so an early attempt might be a good idea for us...

    I also noticed the absence of "pack for hospital", which gives me some relief!

    Perhaps this is all a sign that baby #2 brings with it some experience and calmness. So perhaps I'll be less tightly wound when Karson welcomes a little brother or sister. Or not.
