Who knows!

As it turns out, we were wrong on the due date in the wrong direction!! Looks like Baby #2 won't be around for a while. They say the due date is Jan 2, 2011.

1st Doctor Appointment

Today was my first appointment. They confirmed pregnancy - I didn't cry during my bloodwork - AND, we got to hear the heartbeat! SUCCESS!!

They'll be calling to schedule an ultrasound soon - most likely before my next appointment on Fri, July 2.

We plan to make our announcement to the Rinker clan that weekend, so I'll be glad to have a 2nd appointment and an established due date under my belt before we share the news. It is sure to be a big weekend... with fireworks, Jared & Justin's birthday celebration, and my in-laws' surprise 25th anniversary celebration. Why not give everyone one more thing to celebrate?!? (I'm still a little doubtful that Jared will make it that long without telling Justin, but we'll see how it goes).

I haven't decided how to tell my family yet - with everyone scattered around the country, it likely won't be in person :(

Jordan's Wish

We have already started preparing Jordan for what's coming - and she has already started preparing us for what she wants - a brother.

Jared and I can already tell that I'm showing - and it seems to be lower this time. Plus - the Chinese calendar (which is never wrong in my experience) says boy.

Jordan just might get her wish!!
